Okay, so there's a reason this blog is called "The Resolution." I'm a big believer in making goals and sticking to them. I'm also a big believer in New Years resolutions. I have a few listed for this year, but the biggest one is for Karl and I to get financially fit. We're not terrible with money, but we're also not super great with it either. We're looking to buy a house in the next few years and to take more vacations. In order for this to happen, we need to be a little more disciplined with our cash.
Because of this resolution of ours, I was thrilled when Jordan of The Fun, Cheap, or Free Queen fame approached me about her Frugality Boot Camp that is being hosted for its second year here in Salt Lake. It's going to be held on Saturday January, 19th at 9AM and it'llbe a full-day retreat. The website describes it better than I can:
The best part is the price! Because you're readers of The Resolution, if you sign up before January 1st, the price is only $45 for you and $25 for your significant other/spouse (after Jan. 1st they go up to $69). It's a pretty good deal, guys. Last year the tickets were $225.
To register, just click the button below and be sure to enter the promo code theresolution at checkout.
To find out a little more about the Frugality Boot Camp, visit the website here or watch this video from last year's Boot Camp:
So if you plan on getting financially fit this year, I highly suggest you attend! Karl and I hope to see you there!
Full disclosure: I will receive a portion of each ticket sale purchased with my personal promo code.
