Lately/Our Weekend Adventures

-Our first big snowstorm hit on Friday and it snowed all the way until last night. While I was in school, walking around campus in Keds, I wasn't loving the snow so much, but once I had boots on and the ground was more snowy than slushy I was happy as could be!

-I registered for all my classes next semester, so I'm pretty excited about that.

-Karl and I have been working out a lot and cooking at home every night which is always really awesome.

-This week I even made one of my family's favorite meals that I only ever have when I go home to MA. It came out amazing, but I'll do a post on that later.

-I have a new goal of baking every Sunday. My mom's mom, Marmee used to do it and my mom always says that I take after her, so why not take after her in one more way?

-One minor freak out moment: CHRISTMAS IS COMINGGG!!!! YAY!

-I just finished reading The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Sakznick and it was magical. I highly suggest you pick up this gorgeously illustrated copy

-I also read Girl in Translation by Jean Kwok and that book made me so emotional. It's just really really good.

-Karl and I went to see Skyfall last night. Let me tell you...It was probably my favorite Bond film so far. It's crazy intense. Also, I want James Bond's house.

Well, that's about it for me. Have you seen Skyfall yet? What did you think?

I enjoyed skyfall, especially his evaluation of Bond. Its inspiring if you are positive and have people that believe in you, you can truly do anything. Have you read The perks of being a wall flower?
