The Newest Member of Our Family

Well, remember how I said we had some changes happening in our home? Well, those of you who are friends with me on FB or follow me on Twitter may know that we got a new kitten. His name is Ponce de Leon (just Ponce for short). We got him from a lady that was fostering him in a house with a dog that he was terrified of. We brought him home and Ponce and Kitten got along splendidly. Our biggest fear is that they would hate each other and we would have to give him back, but thank goodness Kitten loves him. They play together constantly and are pretty much the cutest things ever. And now, let me introduce you to Ponce!

Now for some tidbits about our new little buddy:

-He's about six weeks old
-He was taken from his mother too early and as a result cuddles up next to my or Karl's neck, purrs so loud, and tries to suckle anything he can get his mouth near. It creeps us out a little, but he's getting better about it.
-He eats more than Kitten!
-He has really loud farts. Haha. Like human loud.
-He has the tiniest little meow in the world!
-He likes to crawl up inside our box spring at night.
-He loves to be thrown really high in the air onto our bed. Seriously. He comes back for more every time.
-He really enjoys his belly rubs.
-Ponce is the greatest friend for Kitten. They do everything together and it's adorable.

Well, that's our newest addition here in the Bringhurst Household. Isn't he adorable? In case you didn't get enough, here's a video I took of Ponce and Kitten together. Don't mind the occasional blurriness, (it's a defect of my Cannon) or the messy room (we were packing for MA). Oh, and don't mind my singing either. Haha. Do take note of how adorable Karl looks in the last frame. I love that boy.
