Christmas Dates!

Hi friends! It's almost Christmas! I'm so incredibly excited! I love everything about Christmas. I love the music, the kindness of others, Jesus Christ, the cold weather, the presents, and the food! Karl and I have been making an effort to fit in as many Christmas activities as possible and so far, we're not doing too shabby! Here's a look into our lives as of late!

Sometimes when we bend down to pick stuff up, Kitten jumps on our backs and tries to grab the ceiling fan chord.

We made a gingerbread house for our date last night whilst watching Jack Frost (the claymation version).

Kitten has been very friendly lately and loves to hang out on my chest and around my neck as a scarf. Cutesickle.

Kitten likes to sleep in Karl's sock drawer. We call her bureau-cat. Haha. Get it? Beaurocat? So cheesy, we know.

Things are so great right now and I can't wait for our next Christmas activities (Gardner Village and Temple Square). I hope you're all having a great holiday season and living it up while it lasts!

Celebrating!

1. I love stuffing an unrealistic amount.
2. I love Meiko like, a  lot. She's the sound of my crazy college/roommate/single days.
3. All my jokes are borderline inappropriate, but I really enjoy that about myself.
4. Music that is upbeat and all about love is my favorite kind of music.

On another note, I'm done with classes and finals! Woohoo! I now get almost an entire month of freedom before Hell Semester 2012 takes place. Seriously. Math, Biology, Earth's Surface Environments, and an upper level English class will probably be the death of me. I'm excited nonetheless, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to relish every minute of free time I have until then. :)

You all know I'm an incredible Harry Potter nerd by now, so it should be no surprise to you that this was the best news I've had all week! I've never been to Disneyland, but it's much closer to Utah than Disney World is, so when we do go, it'll be to CA. Now I don't have to miss out on The Wizarding World of Harry Potter! So I know it's been  a while, but it's finals time and this blog isn't the only thing that's gone by the wayside. Now for some things that will make you never think of me the same:

-This morning I ate oatmeal with a fork out of a giant Pyrex bowl. We just don't have time for dishes... Or to go grocery shopping for milk and cereal.

-Yesterday I picked up 15 -no lie- empty toilet paper rolls off the bathroom floor.

-This one may be the grossest of all. Last night Karl remarked on the lovely (it really is pretty) gold sheen of my armpit hair. Ugh. I literally have forgotten to shave my pits for like 3 weeks. Don't even ask about my legs.

-We bought a Christmas tree, but haven't really had time to water it. So ya, it's kind of dead.

-Saturday night we finally got around to decorating the dead tree.

-We have eaten out more than I care to admit. It's been the easiest and the fastest thing. And now I feel sick, so we're done with that for a while.

This weekend, I probably did about 15 hours of homework, so I'm pretty much in the clear for the next week until the semester ends. It's been such a crazy time and I'm glad it's almost over. Also, just so you know, both my legs AND my armpits are shaved, the house is clean and the dishes are done. Thank goodness! Haha. Thanks for bearing with me in this crazy time.
