Hello friends! How was your weekend? Mine was really good! On Friday night, Karl and I had a movie night at home and watched How Do You Know?, which I thought, despite awful reviews, was really really finny.

On Saturday, Karl had to work, so Lara and I drove up to Logan for my niece Abby's baptism and lunch at my brother's house. It was really good. I'm so proud of Abby! After coming back from Logan, Karl, Lara, and I made our way up to Utah Lake to go shooting. We've been watching a lot of  "Top Shot" so we bought a bunch of really fun targets. I do have to say, we're getting better and better at shooting. It's something I didn't think I would like, but I've ended up loving it! Saturday night, the three of us watched Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which was... weird. I appreciated what it was trying to achieve, but there was really no plot line, so I didn't love it.

On Sunday we did some cleaning and as per our Sunday tradition, bought snow cones. I dig the tiger's blood. Karl does pineapple, coconut, and strawberry and Lara does peach and raspberry. To each their own. I really love this tradition.

In addition to all the the great events this weekend, I also received notice that I am officially the newest contributing writer on I Heart Salt Lake, which is incredibly exciting! Look for my post about Bruges tomorrow! I also interviewed and got a job at Salt Lake Community College today. I am now the receptionist at International Student Services. I'm really excited and really very grateful that so many wonderful things are coming my way. Thanks to all of you who have kept me in your thoughts and prayers and have been there to support me through everything! I couldn't have done it without you! I hope you have a wonderful week!
