We love Kitten. She's really, really adorable. Especially while she's sleeping, which is during the day. Nighttime is a whole different story. She gets completely insane. She darts all over the place. She spontaneously attacks my (not moving) arm. She wants lots of attention that we don't give to her because we are
Occasionally Kitten will bring something random into bed that she wants to play with. Usually it's a piece of paper or a wrapper of some kind. Last night, she was playing with something and I didn't think much of it until it touched my leg. I freaked out. It was soggy and wet and so awful to feel in bed with you. I had no idea what grossness could be in bed with us. I panicked and yelled at Karl to turn the light on. Upon further inspection, I noticed it was a piece of an old, wet banana peel. First I was relieved. Then I was curious. Then I came back around to disgust. Kitten must have jumped into our trash can an pulled it out. What a sicko! I'm sitting there, so grossed out and Karl is laughing his delirious half awake laugh. He turned over and said, "Don't let the animals bite!", laughed a bit more, and went back to sleep. Haha. I love when he's just past consciousness and talks in his sleep. Anyways, needless to say, I didn't sleep much of the night. I just kept imagining a slimy banana peel rubbing the side of my leg. Oh, Kitten. She never ceases to bring adventure into our lives.
