So today I was catching up on some of my blog reading when over at Say Yes to Hoboken, I learned about Liz's sister's band. They're called Timber! and they're a folkie/indie band from Provo, UT. I listened to their song that they have posted and I cannot get over it. It's such a pretty song! It's exactly my style. It's beautiful, it's melancholy, it has banjos and violins and xylophones, it's a boy and a girl singing (which I love). This is my perfect song for today. I love it so much. I know I usually only post about music on Wednesday, but this needs to be shared. This is what is most meaningful to me today. Definitely take a listen if you get a second. You might become a bit obsessed if you're anything like me.
Oh, and they're also trying to get some money together to put out an album and tour. Liz at Say Yes to Hoboken is offering to make a skirt for one random person who donates. She's crazy talented, so if you have the means, I highly suggest it.

so i found your blog through siovahn's... i moved into the hingham stake a few years ago. funny thing is, my sister married liz and katrina's (the main girl singer in Timber!) brother. it's kinda cool that my sister is in the same family as such a big bloggerina!
Haha, that's so crazy! Such a small world! I was in the Foxboro Ward and I love that stake. And I love Liz's blog. :)
