Overcoming Fear

This is my Inspiration Board. It's one of the many projects I've been working on for my blogging class.

Hey everyone! So as you may know, I'm partaking in a blogging e-course titled, Blogging Your Way. It's been such a good experience for me thus far. I'm learning what I love blogging about, photography skills, and how to overcome my fears/insecurities. The class is taught in part, by Holly Decker, author of Decor8. Today Holly published a podcast on overcoming fear. It was so good. I can't stop thinking about it. Blogging has become my passion. It got me through horribly awful work days and helped me to have a creative outlet in a corporate environment. I have several goals that I'm working on right now, but the most important one for me is to become a successful blogger. I've put love, money, and tears into this blog right here. The Resolution is my baby. It makes me feel happy and fulfilled.

The one most important message I got from Holly's podcast today is to never believe that I won't succeed. I wanted to convey that message to all of you as well. Whatever it is you want to do or whoever it is you want to be, always tell yourself that you can and will make it. You have a choice in everything you do. Choose to succeed. Sometimes I get stressed out thinking about my all of the crazy choices I have made and am currently making. I quit my job, signed up for a blogging class, am registering for a blog conference in Park City, and am saving for a new camera, all for the sake of my blog. These are crazy things for me. I keep thinking, "What if this all doesn't work out? What if I spent all this time and money on a goal that will never come to fruition?" Then I have to dispel all of those doubts as fast as I can. I get rid of the "What ifs?" that are looming over me and replace them with "I will succeed." With that kind of attitude, there is no way I can fail.

I know life can be challenging and obstacles are often thrown in our paths, but if we remain steadfast, dedicated, and positive we all can make it. There's nothing that will be able to keep us down.
